Ancient lava flows have created a stunning underwater landscape on the neighboring island of Lanai. We love the underwater topography of caverns, lava shoots, swim throughs, and arches and you will too. Your experienced captain will determine the days sites based on conditions but you can expect to dive Lanai's famous Cathedrals along with other locations. 

Our group sizes are small with 14 or less divers and you will receive special attention from your instructors who will guide you on 2 exceptional dives and answer all of your questions about the marine life.

Our custom built boat, Hoku is the fastest and most comfortable boat that crosses the channel. Dolphins and whales are frequent visitors and we always stop when they say hi.

2 Tank Lanai Cathedral Scuba Dive Via Boat for Certified Divers

Extended Horizons dives the Lana'i coastline in small groups of 4 or less. No other dive shop has such amazingly low ratios of dive guide to diver. Lanai is famous for it's Cathedral Dives, swim-throughs, archways, and lava structures. We dive both First and Second Cathedral on a regular basis. Many divers agree that Lanai diving has the greatest diversity and marine life density, to rival all other diving locations in Hawaii.
Our tour is guided by certified Naturalists and marine biologists. We go SLOW so you see more.
This is a two tank boat trip. We do two dives, at two locations. There are over 40 dives sites to choose from, ranging from beautiful coral reefs, to unique lava tubes, making these dives the best of your vacation!
Between dives we have a warm lunch catered by Chef Marcos from Hungry Coyote. Homemade meals to keep you satisfied.

Beginner Scuba Dive in Lahaina: Swimming Required

A guided shore dive just off the coast of Maui is the perfect introduction to scuba diving. You'll see some of the island's best coral reefs while practicing the basics of diving at your own pace with a small group of four people maximum, ensuring personalized attention from the guide. While the fish are hiding, the invertebrates are prowling! During a Maui night dive, shine your light on lobsters, crabs, octopus, nudibranchs and hunting eels. You'll explore the reef with a qualified dive guide who points out Hawaii's underwater inhabitants. This one-tank shore dive is limited to four divers for a small-group experience.

2-Tank Dive Featuring the Molokini Crater

This excursion is designed for people who are certified divers.  We will meet at one of the lovely dive sites located in the Wailea/Makena area of South Maui.  We will have a safety briefing, and afterwards go out on an underwater adventure.  Highlights of dives here include turtles, rays, sharks, eels, crustaceans, and lots of tropical fish and reefs. Pictures of your excursion are included.  A second dive at a second dive site may be added as well for a fee.

Private and Personalized Scuba Diving Adventures for All Experience Levels

This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification.  You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim.  Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.
