You will experience "Goma Prayer" in a sacred mountain called Mt. Inunaki. In this tour, you hike up the mountain to the Shipporyujii-temple with our guide through premival forest which has been a training basement for "Yamabushi", Buddist monk. After arriving at the temple, Please enter the main hall about 15 minutes before the "Goma Prayer" starts. 

When you go to "Fudouguchi-Kan", Onsen Ryokan at the entrance of Mt. Inunaki, enjoy soaking in the Inunaki hot springs. 

※Inunakionsen Fudoguchikan will be temporarily closed for renovation from April 24 to September 30, 2026.
During this period, guests will use the hot spring facilities at Minamitei.

Mt. Inunaki Trekking and Waterfall Training in Izumisano Osaka 

In this tour you can trek among Mount Daifuku and visit the sacred Sutra Mounds with a real Shugendo practitioner. Enjoy a delicious meal of seldom-on-the-market Kuroushi beef and local seafood. The tour stops by the Naniwa Sake Brewery established in the Edo period for some sake tasting and shopping. A private taxi will take you to each location. Trekking will be about 4hrs (9.5km).

Hiking Tour with a Yamabushi in Senshu

This tour will visit Tomogashima, the starting point of Katsuragi Shugendo, where the first sutra mound is located, and the second sutra mound, the remains of Shinpukuji Temple. The main tour will be a "Shugendo Cruise" to see the Shugendo site on Tomogashima from the sea, and in the port town of Kata, the tour will visit places related to Shugendo such as "Ajigamine Gyoja-do" and "Kata Awashima Shrine". Meals will include fresh sea bream, a specialty of the area, and other delicacies from the sea. You can also experience bathing in the hot springs of Kada.
This course includes a "Shugendo Cruise" accompanied by a Shugendo practitioner from the Shogoin Monzeki and a goma-burning asceticism experience.
