A tourism tour of about 30-40 minutes around the old village, al Aqr, in Nizwa. The tour explores the city's heritage village, historical ruins, old irrigation system and architectural mud houses. The tour is by echo carts, educational, interactive and entertaining.

Kick off your adventure with a 6-7 AM pick-up from Muscat to Jebel Shams, Oman's highest peak. Arriving by 9-10 AM, embark on the scenic Balcony Walk along Wadi Ghul, enjoying stunning views and exploring the historic village of Sab Bani Khamis. Hike to the hidden lake and head back to the vehicles before enjoying lunch. Visit the ruins of Ghul before returning to Muscat by 7-8 PM, inspired by Jebel Shams' breathtaking landscapes.

Balcony Walk of Jebal Shams (Highest Peak of Oman)

This hike starts from the Wadi (a dry waterway) just minutes from the hotel grounds. You can get an accurate picture of the natural wadi systems, admiring the various shrubs and shrubs in this fertile mountain landscape and the formations of the rocks. The hike ends near an impressive rock formation, which becomes a spectacular natural waterfall in the rainy season. Climb up to discover the abandoned village of Sarab (which is closest to the hotel), the original home of the local people. Some are closely associated with the hotel today. Go on an expedition, go into the houses and put yourself in the life of that time not so long ago. You can get on the gravel path to the main road leading to the hotel.

Via Ferrata

We will take you in a 40-minute drive to the starting point at Aqbat Al Biyut. This unique hike leads along an 8.6 km long donkey trail with a breathtaking view of the valley landscape. We descend to one of the most beautiful villages in Oman. Masirat Al Jawamid is at the bottom of the valley. Immediately below are beautifully cultivated gardens. Our excursion ends at the upper part of the waterfall, where, in addition to the impressively terraced gardens, you can admire the 650 m higher hotel complex Alila Jabal Akhdar. A unique place to get some great photo shots before we go back.
