Mornings at Spencer Glacier are the most serene & consistently magnificent time to paddle. Kayak around icebergs and up close to the Spencer Glacier terminus face. Hike onto the glacier moraine and get up close to the blue wall of ice. Enjoy two Alaska Railroad Trains: The Coastal Classic & the Glacier Discovery Train, traveling thru the most scenic Grandview & Tunnels sections of the AK Railroad.

The headwaters of the Knik River is the largest Glacier in South Central Alaska, also bearing the name of Knik. 

This glacier-formed valley is full of wildlife, such as moose, bears, eagles, and salmon just to name a few. Though we can not guarantee you will see wildlife on your tour, we can guarantee that you will get to experience being out in nature. This tour starts and ends at the Glenn Highway Knik River Bridge, by Reflection's Lake, once everyone is checked in we will transfer everyone to Old Knik Bridge. Once at the bridge we will board our paddle craft and begin our journey down the Knik River. The Knik River is glacier-fed so no jumping in unless you want a very cold bath. The river has a strong but slow-moving current that takes us back to the Glenn Highway. 

This trip is a great beginner kayaking trip as the guide will be with you every step of the way. This includes transport upriver, getting you outfitted, and paddling back downriver.

In Whittier, the Glacier Quest Cruise cruises from the quaint seaside town to glacier-filled Blackstone Bay, a dramatic deep-water fjord where two tidewater glaciers and several alpine glaciers await. Keep an eye out for sea otters, Steller sea lions, bears, mountain goats, whales, and more! 

You will see several glaciers, including Tebenkof Glacier, named for Mikhail Demitrievich Tebenkof, an outstanding surveyor whose maps were the first charts of Alaska's waters published in 1852. Northland Glacier rests majestically, clinging to the edge of the towering mountain. Blackstone and Beloit are tidewater glaciers that have carved a steep pathway to reach Prince William Sound's saltwater. Cruise up close to these massive glaciers to watch for telltale signs of movement signaled by the distinct "pop" of glacier ice calving.
