Bremer Canyon Killer whale Expeditions
Encounter an astonishing aggregation of marine wildlife on an unforgettable full-day expedition. From December to April, we visit one of the least explored places on Earth—the only place in Australia where killer whales are reliably seen. You may also encounter long-finned pilot whales, sperm whales, blue whales, or rare beaked whales. Pods of bottlenose, striped, and common dolphins often delight with acrobatic displays. Sharks such as great whites, whalers, and the striking oceanic blue may be spotted—this species is never seen from shore. You may witness enormous sunfish surfacing and the remains of giant squid, evidence of orca predation, scavenged by an array of seabirds including albatross, shearwaters, and petrels. Each expedition includes a qualified Marine Biologist and onboard Photographer (images emailed post-tour). Morning tea, catered lunch, and afternoon tea are included. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
